First set of socks

Here are the firs addition to socktoberfest, they are just a plain and simple sock no fancy pattern but I love them. The yarn is lornas laces sheherd sock in colour Black Purl, they feel fantastic on, this is the first pair of lornas laces socks I have made but wont be the last!!

Pattern: Slight adaptation of free opal pattern
Materials: Lornas Laces sheherd sock Black Purl, 2.5mm needles

Twilleys short Tank top

I am AT LAST knitting my much coveted Twilleys Freedom Spirit, colour Air into a rather lovely tank top from the accompanying book. I am amazed how quickly it knits up and I love how it looks, the back is complete and I am making good progress on the front too so it shouldn't be all that long that long until I am wearing the first big knit I have made in a long while. HOORAH

Here is a quick peep at the back to let you see how the colours look knitted up, I think it looks like a very clever fairisle without all the headache and hard work. ;)

Socktoberfest!

Well I have had *ahem* a few *blushes* pairs of socks otn for a while now so I am going to soon have a pair to be posting a piccy to socktoberfest very soon the first of a few pairs given my socky obssesion but who can blame me...socks are GOOOOODDDD
